Overview
Set in the mystery-shrouded Peak District, the series follows two mismatched young detectives: affable local Ben Cooper and guarded newcomer Diane Fry. Thrown together to investigate a string of mysterious deaths they must learn to work together to get results. As their personal lives begin to intertwine, a unique friendship begins to form... but it won't always be easy.

A body is unearthed on a Derbyshire farm during renovations. And when a second corpse is uncovered, it's missing its head. As disturbing truths emerge, Cooper and Fry are lead into a deadly fight for justice.
Episode 2
Cooper and Fry investigate the disappearance of a teen girl. Suspicion falls on her wealthy family and disgruntled employees, as well as the local tale of the Black Dog of Edendale.
Episode 3
When a brutally beaten corpse is found in a disused quarry, Cooper and Fry's investigation leads them to an old missing person case and a mysterious local group with dubious interests.
Episode 4
After the body of a photographer is found dead lying among an ancient stone circle at a tourist spot, Cooper and Fry are drawn in to a mystery that sends shockwaves through the team.
