Overview
After a chance encounter, recently divorced advertising director Jian Bing and idealistic newcomer Sheng Yang find healing and love in each other, but must navigate age, status, and social pressures before deciding whether time will ultimately bring them back together.

Early in the morning, Sheng Yang rushed to the company with the design draft that he stayed up to finish last night, and was sent by the leader to buy coffee for everyone as soon as he arrived. His friend ridiculed him for working so hard that he neglected his dating life.
Doubting Life
Jian Bing got drunk alone in the restaurant, and gave Sheng Yang the steak she hadn't eaten. Before Sheng Yang recovered, Jian Bing disappeared. After paying the bill in a hurry, Sheng Yang went out to chase people, found Jian Bing who was drunk on the street, and grabbed her when she was about to fall.
I Can't Leave You
Sheng Yang was reminded by Song Chen that Jian Bing had called him, and he mustered up the courage to call him back. Jian Bing went home to pack her luggage and prepared to separate from Xue Yi Ming. Xue Yi Ming thought that she asked Sheng Yang to avenge her cheating, and felt that the two might still get back together.
Respect
Sheng Yang sent Jian Bing home. Before leaving, he couldn't help but reveal his true feelings and encouraged Jian Bing to cheer up. Early the next morning, Jian Bing woke up and felt that she needed a fresh start.

At Jian Bing's insistence, Sheng Yang accepted her transfer and proposed to return the box she had thrown away, but Jian Bing refused and proposed to use her meal money as a deduction.

Sheng Yang returns to handle the emergency situation in the shopping mall. The team leader passes the buck to Sheng Yang. He doesn't have any good excuse for the mistake and knows what the problem is. Finally, the company decides to fire Sheng Yang, Song Chen and Pan Rou. However, Sheng Yang bears all the responsibility for the mistake.
Burden
Ms.Luo doesn't expose Sheng Yang. Instead, she follows him every day. She finds Jian Bing and tells her that Sheng Yang is unemployed now so she hopes Jian Bing will give him a job. Song Chen tells Sheng Yang if he could not find a new job, he would go back to his hometown.
Friend
The two recall the memory of when they met for the first time. After drinking, they start to express their feelings to each other. When Jian Bing and Liang Shanshan see Xue Yiming, they immediately blame him together.
Get Over It
After learning that Sheng Yang used his own equipment to work on the special effects, Jian Bing suggested going to her company and using their set instead. Sheng Yang knew that Xue Yiming would also be there and hesitated.

Love Rival
Fang Mu and Sheng Yang both confess their love to Jian Bing in their own way. Jian Bing is jealous since she sees the assistant takes good care of Shang Yang. Hao Junjie finally can confess his love to Jian Shuang. Fang Mu confesses to Jian Bing after sending her back to the hotel. But Jian Bing is unmoved and loves Shang Yang only.
Being Stubborn
Shang Yang prepares the surprise for Jian Bing and confesses his love to her again. Both of them are getting closer. On the second day of filming, Fang Mu and Shang Yang start a "battle". Facing the thoughtful and considerate Fang Mu, Sheng Yang loses.
Wait a Lifetime
Sheng Yang wants to tell his parents about Jian Bing but she stops him. Jian Bing hides in the room and finds out that Sheng Yang's sketchbook is full of her portraits.. They get away from his home in the morning. Sheng Yang's mother bumps into them when they embrace each other.
Friendzoned
Fang Mu visits Jian Bing's father in the hospital and offers help to Jian Bing. Sheng Yang decisively moved out of his home and lives with Song Chen, but they are evicted by his landlord. They have no choice but to go to an Internet cafe to make ends meet and start working there.
Jian Bing's Father
Jian Bing rushes to a meeting and meets Sheng Yang at the subway station. They embrace and give support to each other for their own lives. Jian Zhongde is discharged from the hospital and moves into Jian Bing's home. Sheng Yang and Jian Bing can finally date but her father causes her some troubles. Jian Bing meets Sheng Yang's mother who comes to find her.
Huge Age Gap
After talking with Shang Yang's mum, Jian Bing learns that Shang Yang argues with his family because of her. She starts to avoid him and behave differently.
